Transforming the Stem Cell Dream into a Reality
Share a CELL is an organization based in Toronto and the greater area. Our aim is to raise awareness and funds for Stem Cell Research as well as support the Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) program at the Ottawa Hospital. The Ottawa Hospital is the largest acute care hospital in Canada who's vision is to provide each patient with the world class care, exceptional service and compassion we would want for our loved ones.
The Ottawa Hospital Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) program is a regional transplant facility that performs approximately 120 transplants per year. Autologous (self) and allogeneic (donor) transplants are performed for both malignant and non - malignant diseases. A multidisciplinary team provides patient care and management both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The BMT program was the first program outside of the USA to receive accreditation from the Foundation for Accreditation of Cell Therapy (FACT).
Let's join together to raise awareness and support the miracle that is stem cell research!
